# Errors

> Error format and common error messages of the Kravata Business API.

Errors return an HTTP status code and a JSON body with an `error` field describing the problem:

Authentication errors are returned by the gateway with a `message` field:

## Common errors

| Code | Name | Description |
| - | - | - |
| 400 | Invalid Request | Validate your request, it has invalid values. |
| 400 | Invalid Data Type | You are sending an invalid data type in the request. |
| 400 | Invalid Numeric Type | You are sending an invalid numeric data type in the request. |
| 400 | Account pending approval or is inactive | The account is registered but not activated. |
| 400 | This account is already registered | You tried to register an account that already exists. |
| 400 | The amount to be paid is higher than that allowed by our payment platform | Reduce the amount of the order. |
| 400 | On ramp not found | The order ID does not exist. |
| 400 | Previously Performed Operation | You already performed this operation. |
| 400 | On Ramp pending to negotiate | Your on-ramp is being validated by our team. |
| 400 | Quote is invalid or has expired | Request a new quote and create the order before `validUntil`. |
| 401 | Unauthorized | Missing, invalid or expired access token, or missing `clientId`. |
| 403 | Not has permission | You do not have permissions for this action. |
| 403 | Client pending approval or is inactive | Your client is not approved to operate yet. |
| 403 | Amount exceeded for client | Your monthly operating limit has been reached. |
| 403 | Cant access to endpoint | The endpoint is blocked outside business hours. |
| 404 | Not Found | The requested resource does not exist. |
| 404 | Bank Not Found | The bank does not exist. |
| 404 | Account Type Not Found | The account type does not exist. |
| 404 | Client ID Not Found | The client does not exist. |
| 404 | Wallet Not Found | The wallet does not exist. |
| 404 | Wallet pending approval or is inactive | The wallet has not been approved by Kravata yet. |
| 404 | Crypto Network Not Found | The network does not exist. |
| 500 | Internal Error | Unexpected error. Contact Kravata with the request details. |
